I am under construction. I was built in the early ’80s and at around the turn of the century I’d started to erode – as things do. With climate change and inflation and all, I just wouldn’t last without repairs. It’s taking YEARS with all the emotional bureaucracy and spiritual red tape but the foundation is fortified and the wiring is being re-run.
The future looks bright though the past is so very dark. But I didn’t survive the natural disasters of growth and education to be taken out by the repairs. So if something here causes concern, just know that I’ve worked through it.
I just want to share. Maybe help someone understand me. Maybe help someone understand themselves.
I haven’t the slightest idea of what’s coming.
Nor do I care.
Nor should you.
When it gets here, we’ll decide where to put it.
Or, we’ll put it out.
That simple.
We’ll just keep our eyes open – deal?
